Professor Dr. S M A Quader Rubel

Dr. SMA Quader Rubel is an Associate Professor of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics and Principal of Update Dental College & Hospital under University of Dhaka. He is also member of Governing Body of Update Dental College. He is a specialist in Endodontics and Restorative Dentistry.
Dr. Quader graduated Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Dental Unit, Rajshahi Medical College under University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh in 1999. In his academic career he stood First place in all Four Professional BDS exam under University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. His Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council (BM&DC) registration number is 1124.
Dr. Quader started his Professional career from 2000 to 2003 as Lecturer, Department of Pedodontics in Pioneer Dental College under University of Dhaka. From 2004 to 2010 he served as a Dental Surgeon in Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. Peoples Republic of Bangladesh.
He obtained Master of Dental Surgery (MS) in Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2010.
Dr. Quader has attended several International Conferences and Training Hands on Workshop since 2009 and giving presentation covering all aspect of modern Endodontics and Restorative Dentistry. He has received advanced Endodontic training in Germany, Switzerland, Turkey, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, India and many more countries.
Dr. Quader is the Editor of the Update Dental College Journal. He is a Member of the Editorial Board of Bangladesh Journal of Endodontics, the official Journal of Bangladesh Endodontic Society. He has published several articles in peer reviewed journals nationally and internationally.
He is now Councilor and represents Bangladesh in Asia Pacific Endodontic Confederation (APEC) and also country representative of International Federation of Endodontic Association (IFEA). He is the Scientific and International Affairs Secretary of Bangladesh Endodontic Society.
Dr. Quader has blessed with one Son, Ahnaf Quader and married to Dr. Hasna Hena, Professor of Anatomy, East West Medical College, Dhaka.
He is devoted to his evening Endodontic (Root Canal Treatment and Endo Surgery) and Aesthetic Dentistry practice enhanced with latest Surgical Microscope in Smile Zone Dental Care, Uttara, Dhaka, Bangladesh since 2004.
